The day I remember
most was when my dad told me he needed my help in the business.
One weekend my dad asked me to come home from the University of
Georgia to sweep out the homes in a subdivision that was almost
ready for inspection. That was in 1972. I did not know it at the
time, but that weekend started my career in real estate, and I've
had a passion for it ever since.
Today, thousands
of families live in Chatham neighborhoods. When asked, "to
what do we attribute our success," I am always reminded of
a quote directly from an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article written
about our company, "The Chathams have built their reputation
on country-grown hard work and dependability."
We have learned
that developing neighborhoods is about more than constructing houses.
Neighborhoods are about families. They are places to nurture...places
to create memories and values.
I hope you'll
take the time to visit each of our neighborhoods. You'll see the
clear difference that our family-owned business makes in each neighborhood.
